Magic.
Have to kill boy. 'Man' disguised to make his enemy feel off about killing him. Child.
Woman fighting him. Doesn't seem to really know her. Goes to another place and puts spell on the women. Looks as though they are dead, but we later learn this Can't Be true.
Lady 1: the fighter. is there, unknowingly disguised, and puts up protective shield.. thing.
Running around, trying to find other people, make sure they are okay, but doesn't seem too distressed somehow, not in the way she should be.
Uses powers to protect herself.
Sir 1: her enemy, disguised as a younger boy [12?], also with powers, though slightly greater than Lady 1
Sir can fly, sort of. Lady can not, calls on someone/thing to help her but fails.
Sir returns to the ground, amused, fight on the ground.
Swords, and magic shields.
Lady has a mask on, and also uses magic to disguise herself from him.
They fight. Sir gets her helmet knocked off and senses the use of disguise. He removes his own disguise [which had him about the same size as herself, now he is taller and larger than her]
Continues the fight, believing perhaps there is a man or one of the most skilled women warriors beneath the guise. He is right, though doesn't realize WHICH warrior it is.
Sir gets Lady right where he wants her, perfect place to kill her. Being a sir of the house himself, he wants to know who it is, make it more fun for himself. He removes the guise, only to be terrified by the sight before him. It is Lady, the woman he loves and had believed was safe and well, under a spell like the others in the palace[?]. This is why he Can't Have killed them, he would never kill her.
Lady doesn't explain, and seems just as willing to continue fighting. Sir has dropped his guard, and Lady takes the chance to continue the battle. He is less willing, merely defending himself, occasionally throwing out questions and disbelief, pleads for her to leave and go to safety. The guard will be there soon, and he will have no choice.
The sound of the guard begins to approach in distant corridors out to their landing. They still fight, the guard gets closer. Sir is now angry and begins to formulate a plan, unbeknownst to us. He goes to make a final lunge of his sword into Lady, but she strikes first, her sword going straight into his chest.
He dies, but somehow doesn't? Magical thing.
Sir is NOT evil, though not necessarily good?
Lady and Sir were in love, though not obviously.
He had been with her, using a potion on her, making her unconscious and unable to get involved in the events he knew would follow. It would wear off after so many hours, or cured immediately with the antidote potion.
Lady was one step ahead, and knew his plan. After he gave her the potion, he would leave to fetch the other girls. One of her lady's in waiting would come in and give her the antidote potion, and she would wake. Lady then guised the girl as herself, putting her under a spell to make her appear to be Lady and making her unconscious. Lady then disguised herself and prepared to fight Sir.
Why does she want to fight Sir if she loves him?
Why does Lady believe this must happen? Who fooled her/what did she hear?
Why is Sir doing this? Attacking the castle?
Original thoughts. No 'King was Evil, you just didn't know it!' plot.
